Independent chucks PSA - System Bilsing

Independent chucks System Bilsing have 4 independent jaws, which can be set up as needed. They are ideal for cylindrical and irregular shaped workpieces as well and thus can be used for a variety of machining tasks.

Spindle housing and jaws are made from hardened steel and therefore guarantee a long service life, capacity and high precision.

Designs with quick-change jaw system allow for trouble free and rapid change from I.D. to O.D. clamping.

The quick-change jaw system

As in typical chucks, the jaws are guided in slots. Independent chucks according to american standard are equipped with a quick-change jaw system i. e. jaws are divided in master jaws (3) with a thread for the adjustable spindle (4) and stepped reversible top jaws (2).

To turn the top jaw (2) on the base jaw (3), simply release the jaw mounting bolt (1).
